“Little Forest Angel” is a name given to a bird commonly known as the Fairy Pitta. Also called the ‘Eight-Colored Bird’, this small and brightly coloured bird is native to East Asian countries and is most recognizable for its plumage of eight different colours reminiscent of a rainbow. Sadly, due to recent habitat disruption, trapping and hunting, and human disturbances, the population of Fairy Pittas has been on a constant decline leading to a classification of the species as vulnerable. Cort hopes that they may contribute to raising awareness of the critical condition of this beautiful yet endangered species by commemorating and visualizing the bird in its natural habitat on our special acoustic guitar.
